Have you got a copy of George Fawdry's will?

Presumably, to know he left property to tne Griffins.

How does that describe the house and property?

Hello again, yes i have the will, it  states that he leaves all his goods, chattels, money and personal estate, and effects  to RalphGriffin and to Mary Griffin his wife.  Will dated November 23, 1818, and proved May 17th, 1819.  If he owned property it doesnt say where.  marlene

If property, land or house was involved it would more than likely specify it separately from his "goods chattels money and personal estate"
I think the Griffins just inherited his stuff and money, if any.

As for if they were related, it will require research on Georges family to see. For example, did George marry? Did he have children, if so did he have a daughter who married a Griffin? If he didnt have children then did he (or his wife if married) have any relations called Griffin, or who married a Griffin?   But at the end of the day, they may have just been friends and not related at all.
