Furlong, Bunyan

I'm looking for anyone connected to either Furlong or Bunyan surnames. In the 1800s, the Furlongs came to Luton from Cosheston, Wales. The Bunyans have been in Bedfordshire for some time.

There was a rather well known non-conformist John Bunyan 1628-88 from Elstow Bedfordshire

As far as I can tell, John Bunyan is not related to my ancestors. His tree is available online, but despite the close proximity of Bunyan families, no connection.
