The spelling at this sort of date is very variable and inconsistent.

I have found these marriages so far (some for couples not on your list, I know), but I wonder if you have any further indication of dates or places where any children were born to these couples?

again   thanks Nell.........
taken a copy of what u listed.....
interim of when the  post went up     some interesting material came out about this family   principally of the Calne branch and a memorial plague in Salisbury.

It seems to be a surname that seems to arrive in Wiltshire , has limited foundation in records anywhere and then peeters out  however this one survived..... Another that came out in the same batch was the Elisandre family  .........     One day I must investigate pre 1550 documents for the villages where my family resided.........

cheers
 :)

I have no idea whether this website is accurate or not, but take a look at:
http://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Maundrell

Which says that the first mention of the name is in Yorkshire in 1379?!

and a memorial plague in Salisbury.

Really?! A Memorial plague? ::)

It seems to be a surname that seems to arrive in Wiltshire , has limited foundation in records anywhere and then peeters out  however this one survived

So, did it peter out, or did it survive?
