Can anyone help be finding any church records for this gentleman. From a service pension record it looks as though he was born about 1794 in Killsherdaney. he went on to marry Mary ??? and they had a baby Sarah in 1834 in Templemore, Co Tipperary when he was a soldier in the 67th regiment.

You don’t say what denomination he was. Killsherdoney Church of Ireland baptisms start in 1796, and RC in 1803, so you might be a little too early. There’s copies of both in PRONI in Belfast. They might also be on some of the pay to view/subscription sites like rootsireland.
