There is a grave inscription in Rathkeale C of I graveyard for a John Frawley of Blossom Hill Rathkeale died 25 Jul 1925 age 62 - possibly too old for your John Frawley but may be related.

Dear All

Thanks again for this. I dropped the ball on the John Frawley-Margaret Conway marriage, but have now picked it up again and waiting for the certificate for the 1898. Hopeing that it confirms John at Blossom Hill/The Commons Rathkeale.

Just about to correct the other thread: John's daughter Bridget was born in May 1922, not 1937.

Thanks again and any other info on this Rathkeale family would be most welcome

I now have the marriage:

John Frawley of Blossom Hill, farmer, 26, bachelor, prev. umn. Father:James Frawley, farmer. Margaret Conway of Coolanoran, farmer, 21, spinster, prev unm. Father: Denis Conway.

Witnesses: Michael Fean, Bridget Conway Civ Recd Newcastle West R Dist, Vol 5, p. 2, No. 179.

They were married at Ardagh Roman Catholic Chapel, Ardagh, County Limerick, Ireland 27 December 1898.

Ultimately, they had 10 children: Jeremiah, John, James, Mary,, Thomas, Michael, Christopher, Joseph, Bridget " Bridie", and Anna.
