Anthony
Thanks for the info and your good wishes.  May I wish the same to you and yours for 2007.
My wife's uncle (thro' marriage) was Gilmore Joseph Quee born 1910, now the headstone gave one of the twins who died as Joseph Gilmour Quee born 1911, so I need to start digging to see where this connection comes together.  I have a lot of queries to sort out in my wife's family and now need a visit to Belfast to get my teeth into them.  Hopefully will talk my wife into visiting NI early summer.
The family history trails never seem to get any shorter. ha ha
Again many thanks for your help
All the best
Alf

My grandfather, Wilson Johnston, married an Elizabeth Quee in 1917. She died a few weeks after chidbirth (in 1918) and my grandfather went on to remarry and have several children, one of whom was my father. Wilson Johnston was born around Sandy Row area I think so its possible there is a connection bearing in mind the name is not that common. If you have an Elizabeth Quee born late 1800s I would be interested as I havent really started on my fathers side of the family yet and dont know much about them
