« on: Saturday 28 June 14 12:30 BST (UK) »
Does anyone recognise the following Morgan family who may have been from Greencastle, Kilkeel, Co. Down:

Eddie Morgan a soldier in the Great War was born around 1885 married Maggie Quinn and settled in Glasgow, he died on 14th September 1926;

Francis Hugh Morgan a soldier in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the Great War was born around 1889 married Martha Quinn (a sister of Maggie) and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he died on 12th November 1955:

James Morgan (who might have been the eldest); and

Joseph Morgan.

James and Joseph being still alive in 1955.

Hi,
   There is a record of an Edward Morgan who married Margaret Quinn in Londonderry Roman Catholic Church, Templemore Parish on 7 Mar 1916. This church is probably the Long Tower Roman Catholic Church.

Thank You. It makes sense that Maggie would have been married in the Church of the Long Tower as other member of the family were subsequently married there.
Eddie Morgan may have been based in Derry as a soldier at the time. What regiment might he have been ?
