Looking for anyone who has an Owen Ward from Co. Down in their family tree. Your  tree may put more light on the Owen Wards that appear in that county that I am researching. Any response will be appreciated.

I really don't have any info except from a marriage cert of his son Lawrence. It states the father (Owen) (probably b: abt early 1800's) was a laborer. Lawrence was born abt 1830 in Ireland and married in LPool in 1853 and named his first child Mary who might have been his mother.  Lawrence went to Liverpool sometime before before his marriage.  I see many RC sponsors as Owen Ward, but it's difficult to tell anything about them. Perhaps someone who has an Owen Ward with wife Mary in their family tree may be able to put this puzzle together.
thanks for your reply.

I have 1856 Ulster directory - there are loads of Wards there but I cannot easily copy them.  No Owens
