Thanks Annette7 & Miriamkinga, when ever a name passes through my John Gowen it always throws up a headache for me, it does not surprise me the wrong ages/names or even place names, I think this is the best it is ever going to get.

Thanks again

John

Trying to find out more about John & Mary Ann Eary, BMD if possible , their daughter Amelia Emily Eary born 1840/41 Holbrook in Suffolk, but did move around quite a bit.

Thanks

John

This is such a difficult surname to work with, with so many spelling variations.

I've found the burial of a Mary Ann Eary aged 38 (bc.1815) who was buried 1/5/1853 at St. Peter Mancroft, Norwich.

In a different Norwich parish there supposedly a burial (source FreeReg) of a John Eary, infant, on 18/5/1853 St. Michael, Coslany, Norwich and wondered if possibly mother and son.

However, you can view the original records for both these churches on familysearch and the John Eary burial is simply not there for that date (although death index shows a John Eary died Jun.qtr.1853 Norwich).

Haven't been able to find John and Mary Ann in 1851 census.
