James Sikes/Sykes
« on: Monday 14 July 14 14:05 BST (UK) »
Hi!
Can anyone help with the following?

I am trying to find the parents of  James Sikes and Elizabeth Sikes, both baptised on October 1st 1754 at Deeping St James, Lincoln.

Familysearch lists both baptisms but no parents?!

Any help much appreciated! :D

not on Lincs to the Past 1754 Deeping

In my opinion, that says -

October 1st : Elizabeth wife of James SIKES an adult person

FreeReg agrees http://tinyurl.com/njzvvxg

:)
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Hi!
Thanks for that. It certainly looks as though it is an adult baptism for Elizabeth Sikes wife of James so I must be on the wrong line! Will keep on looking but thanks for your replies! Cheers, Andrew :D
