Welcome to Rootschat  :)

James & Kate Sillery had 7 children by 1911 but only 6 were still living-

same family in 1901-

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi everyone! I've just joined on here to follow this thread. I'm Paul (James>Christopher>Matthew>Michael), and I'm very interested in who came before James and where from, as there are a few ends that are not adding up in my family history research. If I can help anyone on the details of any of James' children, grand children and so on, I'd be delighted to!

To the best of my knowledge, James was a tailor, though. He made the curtain that was used in the old Rialto Cinema in Wicklow town, I believe. Still, other Sillery's went on after him to have a very sea going life.

Following on from Tara's postings
Anne Fagan wife of John Sillery died 11 Feb 1897  Holyoke Massachusetts age 52 her fathers name Christopher
Daughter Alice died 8 nov 1901 husband of Jose Sloss (Alice born Ireland)
Daughter Elizabeth's husband Hugh Kelley.

Edit at the time of Anne Fagans death in 1897 status married so hope of finding John on a Census after this if right family.
