Hi Marilyn found another one today.

2 children in a caravan at Earls Barton surname Studwick died in 1893
of Typhoid Fever.

Okay some new ones from Potterspury from 1813.

Ann Bonham died from Small Pox 1846, she was buried at Midnight.

Also Henry Johnson, same year

I have just indexed the Burials for Earls Barton and note these diseases.

1850, Smallpox, 1 person died

1859, Smallpox, 2 people died

1896, Typhoid Fever, 3 people died

1897, Diphtheria, 1 person died

Just done Kings Sutton burials 1813-1983 only 4 mentions of Small pox in 1823.

Are you still collecting? and if so do you have a collated list anywhere for reference?

If so, a couple more:

All Cottingham:

1849 Age 15 "Inflammation of the bowels" (probably form of bacterial dysentery)
1871 Age 40  Pulmonary tuberculosis
1873 Age 46 Typhoid fever
1889 Age 34 Tubercular kidney (died in Northampton General Infirmary)

Thanks Alan, yes I am still collecting and welcome contributions.
I have two seperate lists, those found in parish registers amd 'other sources' which include death certiificates and newspaper reports.
