I have to agree that you have found the correct family. Not quite the USA but close! Thank you so much for your assistance Sandra, Shaun & Rosie.

It seems that both Albert Thomas and his son George Stuart married a Wallis. Wonder if they were related??

Probate to Keith Wallis Hammond (Hammons), sounds as if he was a family member.

I am rather pleased that George Stuart seems to have been an only child as it makes the family narrative easier to come to grips with.
