CHARGE OF BIGAMY, GOULBURN, Tuesday.
Arthur Grant Jones, a slate quarry foreman, was committed for trial yesterday on a charge of bigamy. Evidence was given that Jones had married Annie Mary Thomas at Carnarvon, Wales, and that she was still alive. Later, it was alleged, he went through the form of marriage with Miss Madeline Armstrong, of Bungonia, at Campsie, N.S.W.. Jones was defended by Mr E F Thomas. He reserved his defence, and was admitted to bail in one surety of £50.

GOULBURN QUARTER SESSIONS, GOULBURN, MONDAY
At the Quarter Sessions, Arthur Grant Jones, slate quarry manager, of Burgonia(Bungonia ?), who was convicted of bigamy, was ordered to --(?) for sentence if called upon within the next two(?) years. Judge Coyle made it a condition that Jones should send an amount, to be fixed by the magistrate at Gouburn(Goulburn?), to his wife in Wales every week.
There is a 1930 advert that refers to an Arthur Grant Jones, Attorney of The Cambria Tin Mining Co., Tasmania.
