Dear Iluleah,
Thanks for the information, I thought it might be there at Wigston.  The last time I was there I was researching ancient sewers in my village - so this will be a pleasant change!!
Slowbutsure.

Hi Just googled cole family in Tinwell and this post came up!
Slow but sure, I am directly descended to samuel Cole who was born in Tinwell in 1801 and died in 1896 (according to his gravestone in Ryhall) if we share the same one he married Elizabeth smith in 1829, had 7 children, Robert, Samuel, Elizabeth, William, Maria, and John.  Been trying to trace the cole family history for a few years now and have uncovered some skeletons in the closet along the way.  :o

Hello Slowbutsure, I have just started using this site, and have read your enquiries.  I am the transcriber of the Parish Records for FreeReg.  I am in the process of completing the period 1689 to 1755.  I finished the period 1755 to 1900 + last year. Williams father was John Cole who married Edith Culpin.  John was from Stamford.

Hi Colepell

Are you transcribing Rutland as a whole, or just certain areas.

My interest would be Uppingham.

I'm doing my family search in Oakham Rutland and have just found out my great grandfather x4 Robert Drake was married to an Elizabeth Cole and their 5 children had Cole as a middle name if that's any help?
