Albert Brittan 1868-1944
« on: Friday 27 July 12 09:10 BST (UK) »
I am researching the above named, who was born on the Isle of Wight on 30 April 1868 and who died on the 2 March 1944 at 147 Malpas Road, Newport.

Albert had served with the Monmouth Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteers and on retiring in 1907, worked in a toy shop(?) and lived at 33 Rugby Road, Newport with his wife Eveline and his 12 children.

Would it be possible for anyone to check the local paper for an obituary?

Many thanks
