Hi, Excellent!

In all these years have never been able to get hold of one 8~(
My Father used to take me to watch Don and Derick when i was a nipper in the Gold Flash combo we had then, i was too young to appreciate it then but loved going into the pits as "Family".

But i make do with a '69 Bonni, '68 Thunderbolt, '58 Road Rocket and a 350 AJS 8~)
Wife not too impressed says i cant ride them all at once! But then she cant wear all her shoes at once ;).

I must admit i'm impressed by the friendliness on this forum.

Nice to meet you and good luck with your searches

Kind Regards
Steve

Rickman is a very common surname in the New Forest.

Someone with this surname lived at the farm opposite me (between Sway and Lymington) about 200 years ago  (listed in Comyn's New Forest book  -  a copy is held in the New Forest Museum at Lyndhurst).

Although it has changed hands a number of times, a Fred Rickman lives there at the moment.  I know some of his relations used to look after the land in years gone by.  So it might be worth looking at our area in some depth.

Hi Steve
Hope you still check this site
I am your cousin, Eveline, eldest daughter of Douglas & Marjorie Rickman.
I remember you when you were little & I have a picture of Robert, Dianne & myself on my trike in I think 1951 just before I left England to come to Australia.
I have done a lot of research into the tree & would be glad to share with you.
I would love to be in contact with the family also.
Cheers
Lin Clive
