As far as I can determine, my Wallaces were CofI
I did a quickie search for variants of Mulcarron, as you suggested and the only one that came up was Kearns.
rootsireland.ie (pay site) has a church marriage for Martin Wallace and Mary Kearns in 1865 in Killannin Church of Ireland Parish Killannin would cover Invern ( Inveran) to see the transcript record costs abou 5 euros. Just register and buy credits 25 per view.
