hello looking for THOMAS FRANCIS HURLEY born 1940 GALWAY possibly LOUGHREA died 1995 in LEICESTER England ,was taken back to his home place to be buried in GALWAY possibly LOUGHREA mothers maiden name possibly JORDAN would like to no where he was buried & came from, only no he was buried next to his brother JOSEPH HURLEY born 1948 died 1992 ,also had 2 other brothers & 1 sister any info mation would be greatly appreciated ,thanks Mark

Hi Tara,
Thomas Francis Hurly died in Leicester 1995 , his family had him taken back to Galway to be Buried ,Thomas was buried next to his brother Joe who died 1992 we had a letter from his sister after the funeral said he had a great send off but the letter was lost ive always wanted to no more of my mate & workmate and if i could, pay my respects at his grave side in some way ,

Thanks , he was a great man ,he never rearly talked much of Ireland sadly , he hadent been back for at least 20 odd years , apparantly he was a great amuture boxer and his Mum had plenty of trophys so his brother who took him back said , :) ive sort of looked under Irish births with the names i have & Loughrea with mothers maiden Jorden name fitting four out of 5 children all guess work tho  :),

It's VERY hard to do a search for HURLEY in Galway as it just keeps throwing up results for out National Sport  ;D ;D ;D

Anyway the only nearish reference that I can find to a Hurley family in Loughrea is for this one in Kylebrack, Loughrea.
