I'm hoping some of you good people on this site can help me again. I am now trying to locate the brother of William Phelan. His name was Thomas born 3 January 1904 in Ireland. We think Thomas was married in Glasgow in a church called Saint Mary's but don't have a name for the bride, and there was possibly two children. Thomas died 3 April 1932, and according to family he was burned by the steam from a train, not sure if he worked on the railway. After being released from hospital Thomas picked up an infection and died. Can't find any records for him but we believe he stayed in Glasgow. Many thanks

Have you found the death on the Scotlandspeople death index?

The death record will state the cause of death and if it was due to an accident there will be an RCE record too.

Going by the dates you have Scotlandspeople have a Thomas Phelan death 1932 Dennistoun Lanark , born c1903.

If that is the correct certificate , it should give you the name of his wife.
