Marriage Emma Cowler(1863) and John Marshall (1864)

Hi All

Cant seem to find a marriage between my Great Great Grandfather John Marshall and his wife Emma Cowler. John was born circa 1864 in Harting, Sussex and Emma circa 1863 in Wareside, Nr Ware, Hertfordshire and lived in Wadesmill (Nr Ware) and listed on the 1901 and 1911 census. i would assume they married in/around Ware. They went on to have William, Frank, Louisa, Frederick,Nellie and Edward John (my great grandfather).

Interested if anyone could find it, I do not have Emma's parents names.

Emma may have been a widow when she married John Marshall as this would appear to be her on the 1891 (but transcribed as Cowles)-

Daniel Cowles   73
Harriet Cowles   67
Fillah Cowles   40
Walter Cowles   29
Emma Cowles   daughter in law 28 b. Wareside, Hertfordshire
Emily Cakebread   11

RG12 Piece 1095 Folio 79 Page 8

Walter (age 31) died q2 1892, Ware
Vol 3a Page 244

Therefore a marriage of Emma/Walter needs to be found which hopefully will give you her maiden name. Equally the marriage cert to John Marshal will confirm details of Emma's father etc.
