This is the John Fitzgerald whom you referred to earlier as a possible brother to your Martin !

What I like about this family is that there are a lot of similar names featured, while none of them rare, it helps NUDGE us towards a possibility of them being related !

Brilliant Tara, I see you're quite flexible regarding townlands etc, do you think having a focus on the names is best, prior to focusing on the  townlands? 

I need to print all these off..............

Well I'm going by John's family tree which is online as towards townlands.

What is interesting is, if as you HOPE, and these two brothers originated as brothers in Ahascragh, sons of a Shepard / Herder ~ well then both John and Martin obviously had no family leased land to keep them in the area so both moved on.

John to Kiladerry and Martin to Ballynaheskeragh
