Hi,
 I am looking for information on my g grandfathers family his name was Terence Rooney wifes name Susan nee Smith. They married in Co Caven Parish Church.

Terences fathers name was Robert.

Do you have any more specific info. on where in Co.Cavan your ggrandparents were married.
In each parish there is a church,if more than one the part where the Senior(Parish)Priest ministers is known as the Parish  Church.
Do you possibly mean the Cathedral,St.Patricks in Cavan Town.

I believe they were married in the Church of Ireland in Cavan .
I now believe his father was Robert Rooney and that he married Anne McGuire in Cavan, not sure if this was in Church of Ireland or Roman Catholic Church. Robert,s father name is possibly Denis from Cootehil.
