There is this marriage on FS, there are two dates given, one in March the other May.  On Freebmd the marriage took place in the June Qtr. so this looks to be the correct entry.

Charles POOLE mar. Emma ELLIS 12 May 1846 Market Drayton, Shropshire.

Are you sure her Father was Thomas Ellis?

EMMA Ellis Christened 8 Sept 1818, Market Drayton, Mother MARIA Ellis
It would explain why no Father is on the F/S Marriage Record.

The Emma i have was born in 1812 Dawley Magna, which would have made her 34 on marriage, seems a bit late...there is a Charles poole born Shifnal 1814 which would fit, but cant see a Market Drayton connection

ok, Emma was chr 19 Jan 1812 and Thomas 17/3/1816 both Dawley Magna

EMMAH, 19 Jan 1812
THOMAS, 17 March 1816

So I dont think the one who Married Charles Poole is yours. Looks like her Mother was Maria.
That explains why no Father mentioned on Marriage on F/S.
