Please can you pick out my grandfather
« on: Saturday 19 December 09 22:49 GMT (UK) »
This is the only picture of my grandfather that I have ever seen, and he is the man behind the three front people, half in darkness.  Is there any way someone can remove the other three and pick out his features so he can be seen, please?

Hi .....I had a go at this one but I wasn't happy with it  :-\ ....would it be possible for you to rescan at 300dpi  isolating your grandfather as this will give a better result.

Irene, Thank you for your work on my grandfather.  He died before I was born and seems to have left a very faint trace of himself behind - as I said, this is the only photo I have ever seen of him and I am not certain of his parentage and birthplace either.  It's great to see your interpretation of those shadows and I hope someone else can come up with something too.  Thank you again and have a happy Christmas   :)
