City Missionary
« on: Tuesday 10 October 06 12:01 BST (UK) »
I have just found out that my ggg grandfathers son Walter Munn was a City Missionary.
He drown in the Clyde, near Monkland, in 1872.
I have his death cert, and have just ordered the news paper article regarding his death.

I wondered if I could find out more about him being a City Missionary.
He was 23 years old when he drowned.

What would he have done as a City Missionary?
Thank you in advance.

Perhaps the Glasgow City mission can help you they go out and feed the homeless and other unfortunate people who work on the streets but if he was locally known then they will have info or guide you
