findmypast search
« on: Monday 19 May 14 07:11 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have access to ancestry.com but something I was looking at is on findmypast and I do not have a subscription to that and this is the only thing I have found on there that I can't find elsewhere. Just wondered if anyone could look up -   First Name    Last Name    Year Of Birth    Collections from    Where    Category    Record collection
CHARLES    Bryer    1840    Great Britain    Great Britain    Education & work    Merchant navy & maritie Transcription
http://search.findmypast.co.uk/results/world-records/merchant-navy-seamen?firstname=charles&firstname_variants=true&lastname=bryer&yearofbirth=1841&yearofbirth_offset=2
Kind regards Gayle
Bryer, Aitcheson, Argent, Austin, Andersen, McBride, Darlington, Booth, Leiper, Hayes, Gilmour, Heard, Graystone, Rarity, Fechner, Scholz, Denner.

Please remember that specific requists from subscription sites (because you don't have a sub) are not allowed here on Rootschat

From our guidelines for posting

Do not ask for look-ups from commercial sources.
Most commercial sources have strict 'Terms of Use', which forbid publishing their data elsewhere, so asking for such look-ups is also asking people to ignore the 'Terms of Use'.
