I wrote last post reply, late last night when I was a bit tired and cranky, so it may have seemed a bit impolite!
I have a Brother who lives in Hampshire and he is a "Spirituralist"! So he may be able to take a short cut! Only joking.

probably years too late, but Bournemouth didnt technically exist before 1837 or thereabouts, I have Upwards, I think they are from Canford Magna area...?

Then why did Bournemouth celebrate its bi centenary in 2010????

Thats bournemouth council being very liberal with the facts! Lewis Tregonwell built 1 house there in 1810 however took another 28 years before the first hotel was built. It also ignores the villages of Kinson, Red Hill, Moordown, Longham and Holdenhurst which existed since at least Anglo Saxon times.
