As with your Sligo query we need more information such as at least an idea of the date.

The birth year of Sarah Stanton is about 1822 her marriage would be inbetween 1842 - 1851

The dates are before the start of civil registration so you'd need to search for church records.

Have a look at Introduction to Irish Records and My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?.

Hi, I checked about for a marriage between Patrick Mulcrone/Sarah Stanton and the only one I could find was on rootsireland.ie and it was for Patrick Mulchrone 1840 co Mayo but it was to Bridget Henegan. The only other I found was 1857 to Mary Callaghan.I could find no birth for either Patrick or Sarah.Looking at the Tithe Applotment books for Mayo which go from 1814-1855 the Mulchrone/Mulcrones are concentrated in parishes of Burrishoole and Crossmolina and the Stantons are concentrated in Burrishoole,Crossmolina,Drum and Manulla so if you go to your nearest LDS (Latter Day Saints (Mormon)) library and start by looking at the parish registers for Burrishoole and Crossmolina to begin with(as these are the two parishes the families have in common about the time of Sarah's birth you may find something.I hope this helps,Kim
