The children of Boys Wanstall & Lydia nee Hook.
From the parish records of St Nicholas Church, Sholden:
Baptisms:
14 Jun 1778 Elizabeth (recorded at Sholden but baptised at Mongeham)
18 Jun 1780 Sarah
21 Jul  1782 Hannah
16 May1784 Ann
 2 Jul  1786 Thomas Bolden
  4 Jan 1789 William
12 Aug1792 Harriot

A Lydia HOOK was baptised at Gt Mongeham 20 Oct 1751 d/o Thomas & Martha HOOK, Butcher.
She had 5 brothers & sisters one of whom was Bolden Hook, baptised 1862.

Many thanks AJ, that's filled in a few gaps. It's a novelty to have a butcher in my tree, makes a change from all the ag. labs.  ;D

I have reserched extensively my tree up to William Boys of Cranbrook who I believe is desended from the Hawkhurst branch (Joseph Boys) I can forward all my information which you may wish to add to the Tree on OPC.

I've found all parishes have a name that there is more of than any other. In Northbourne it's Wyborn, St Margaret's, Finnis and in Betteshanger the largest family was Boys.

I have the Boys name running through my Gambrill family based outside Canterbury .The boys family are also in a book a copy of which I have. Sir John Boys has a rembrance in the cathedral and I have a copy of a newspaper article about I think Elizabeth Boys  dieing she lived I think in the jesus hospital in canterbury. Lucy Boys married into my family.
