Hi,
Has stated before Probate, as for Gypsy Lore, No person would of inherited anything it would of all been destroyed, the Vardo burnt to ashes with all of the deceased's personal belongings inside, china would of been smashed " very unlucky to drink or eat from a dead persons utensil's" pots and pans all would destroyed and sometimes this would leave the remaining family with nothing but the clothes that they stood in even the horse or donkey would be killed or taken to the knackers yard, any gold or silver would perhaps just be thrown in a river, there would be no squabbling over who get's what, even the deceased's name would not be spoken and in some instances if a relation had been named after the departed then they would change it to another, that was Romany Lore, you stood on your own two feet, if it's any help.
