George Francis Theodore Gawler Widower age 27 married Amelia Williams spinster age 24 on 27th December 1885 (so much for the theory they married 6 months after Edie was born) at the parish church of St Philip in Bristol. Witnesses were John Williams and Clara Thomas. Clara had signed as Clara Williams but crossed it out.
They went on to have 5 children
Clara Daisy      15.10.1886      born in Bristol Known as Daisy died 1946 Manchester
Florence          17.08.1889      born in Barry, S.Wales. Died 1973 Manchester
George Harold  19.12.1892      born in Bristol. Known as Harold died 1953 Horwich
Amelia Maude   18.09.1897     born in Manchester. Known as Minnie. Died in Perth, Australia 1970's
Louisa              22.09.1901     born in Manchester Died Manchester 1966
Amelia died in Manchester 31.12.1925
George died in Manchester 29.11.1928
