While I was in Findhorn in May this year I took a trip around Kinloss Abbey Cemetery, as some family are buried there, I took several Photographs, (of headstones), there are a lot of the following name Masson, Allan, Wright, but also Storm Whyte, Riach, Cowper, Main, Riddle Sutherland, and more, I have just sat and put the names on them instead of the image number for to make it easier to view them by name,
If anyone has family buried there and would like me to see if i have a photo of there ancestors headstone , and I would be more than happy to forward it to them , if I do have a photo, Just let me know the details and i will look and see if i have it.
Syb
Sorry folks had to modify when I read it there didn't quiet make sense,

Hi Sybil,
A very small part of my mum's family come from Morayshire, some in Elgin which is a bit far away from Kinloss but I don't know where / when most of them died.
If you have the time, could you have a look at your photos for:
Alexander Sutherland
Isabella Sutherland (nee Robb)
William Anderson
Helen or Elizabeth Anderson (nee Grant)
John, Helen or Mary Anderson
No idea when they died but all born 1770 to 1790s approximately - I've not been able to find any of their deaths on SP so assume they died before 1855.
Thanks for your time.

Jane Black nee Falconer and William Black.
Married in 1837.
He was born in Dyke, and she was born in Auldearn.
He died sometime between 1851/1861, and she died in 1898 January, and her death said buried at the old Kinloss burial

Would anyone know where this burial ground is?

Looking for ancestors of my gg grandmother Isabel Masson. She married James Grant in 1820 and had a brother, George Masson. We know about her brother because she brought his snuffbox to Australia when she emigrated in 1839 and it is still in the family.
I have found a George Masson in the MBGRG.org database, Kinloss Abbey stone 586a, died 1838, drowned in Grangemouth dock. On the same stone is James Masson, seaman, d 1849 and Jannet Smith (Masson). Research into the children of James and Jannet leads me to believe they came from Findhorn.
Have you come across these Massons in your research?
Thanks for your help

Forgot to add that Isabel/Isabella Masson was born in about 1803
