Hi Susan and Welcome  :)

is it possible for you to give info on his place and date of marriage, etc.  and if you've find him on the censues, where and which ones, please?  I'm having probs finding a birth reg for him in Berwickshire/Coldtream, etc. at the moment.

I see you have a tree on Ancestry. I'll see if I can find anything to add  :)

Added - I don't think your 1911 ref is correct - he seems a wee bit old , aged 67. Also he seems to have been in Australia by then   :-\

Hi and thankyou for replying so quickly....im not sure but this is the info i was given Robert Pearson born around 1870 Coldstream died date unknown Bendigo Victoria Australia married Wilhemina McPherson (Minnie) ......and then Roberts Father Robert  born around 1850 Coldstream married to Alison Rannie.   My Ancestry tree im always changing around :).  Thats what i was told by a great aunt  she did say that there could be a few surprises in there whatever that meant one can only guess.

Thanks again

Sue

Not sure if this is of any help to you.

There is a Robert Pearson buried at the Bendigo Cemetery.
Date of burial is 2 January 1900 grave # 15798
Coincidently in the same grave is Wilhelemina Pearson, date of burial 22 October 1929

I don't know if is just the cold, but, I'm confused

Robert Pearson Born around 1870 Coldsteam married Annie

Robert Pearson born around 1870 Coldstream died date unknown Bendigo Victoria Australia married Wilhemina McPherson (Minnie) ......

So are we looking for Robert married to Annie or Robert married to Wilhemina  ??? Or both  ???

Again more confusion for me
Roberts Father Robert  born around 1850 Coldstream married to Alison Rannie.

I found some Coldstream Births and marriages and it has the following;

Robert Pearson married Alison Rannie 24 June 1825 (you have birth of 1850 so can't be him)
Children of Robert Pearson and Alison Rannie all born in Coldstream;
John Pearson born 15 January 1826
David Pearson born 21 June 1827
Janet Pearson born 17 June 1829
Mary Pearson born 20 June 1831
Isabella Pearson born 24 October 1836
James Rannie Pearson born 11 March 1838 died 1856 aged 17
Robert Pearson born 3 March 1840 (also does not fit with your date of 1870)
George Pearson born 20 July 1843
Baxter: Lanarkshire, Slamannan
Jordan: Lanarkshire, Staffordshire
McFarlane: Lanarkshire
Mitchell: Ireland to Scotland, Canada & New Zealand
Farrell: Lanarkshire, Ireland, New York
Fagan: Lanarkshire, Ireland
Hogg: Lanarkshire, Ireland

Hi

A death record for Robert in the Australian Death Index - death registered 1900 (as Drop Bear's info). Aged 46 (so born about 1854). Parents - John Pearson and Margaret Gladstone.
