Richard Ward Osborne of Manfield, Nottighamshire
« on: Sunday 22 January 12 18:13 GMT (UK) »
Anyone have connections to this Richard Ward Osborne beyond the 1911 census?
I have found him living in the parish of Shirebrook but would like to know about him.
I may have to wait until the next census release.

The 1911 index shows his birthyear as 1877 - was he born in Nottinghamshire?

Freebmd has a marriage in 1900 to either Ruth Farmer or Ruth Radford

Presumably this should be Mansfield not Manfield.
I'm interested because I'm related to Mary Osborne (also known as 'Polly') who married John James Leverton on 24 July 1893 in Sutton-in-Ashfield (very close to Mansfield). She was born in 1872, i.e. could be an older sister.
Do you know whether R.W. had siblings?

Many thanks! I managed to repair a photo of Mary (Polly) Osborne my grandmother who was working as a cook at the time it was taken, approx. 1893 (central figure holding a flour shaker).
