I think the Faringdon records are held by the Oxfordshire or Berkhire  record centre, the same for Shrivenham and Watchfield. The Swindon library only have Fiche transcripts from the OFHS Faringdon, Shrivenham and Watchfield.

I've the OFHS transcripts for most of the Farringdon area, although I have been through a microfiche copy of the burial registers for Shrivenham prior to the Berkshire FHS producing a transcript.

Mm, I think a trip to Chippenham may be in order sometime in the Spring (as weather is getting worse now), unless they'll photocopy the marriage licence but from experience they tend to be bound and not able to be photocopied.

In 16 years of researching that's probably the best supporting evidence I've come across for a marriage where neither party married in their home parish nor in the parish or parishes they ended up living.

If you can find something else with better supporting evidence, please do so.

I don't think it says Liddington on the Wanborough register of marriage, in the  photo of the register it looks like S*nnington. Maybe Sennington /Sinnington.

I think you may be right there, in light of the S for Sansom, it looks like another one of that letter rather than an L.   If it is S'nnington or possibly Sennington/Sinnington, that's another name from Sevenhampton from my experience as I've seen people listed as being from there with a connection to Highworth.   Could do with seeing a copy of the marriage licence of which the transcript says Liddington ... mmm, may have to phone up Wiltshire and see if they'll photocopy it at all.

It would be useful if it was Sevenhampton because the Ardens were from there.
