Could this be her?

Annie McGuire age 14 (1898) Mar 1912 Leeds Yorkshire Volume:    9B Page:    405

If you use free search  http://www.1911census.co.uk/ there's an
Annie McGuire age 13 in an institution in Leeds, doesn't give her pob  :(
you would need credits to view full details

I see from the 1901 census her siblings are

Alice (1882), Joseph (1886) , Florrie (1894), Willie (1895) & John (1900)
mother Eliza M (1863) widowed

1891 census RG12; Piece: 3847; Folio: 108; Page: 10
Eliza's married to Thomas McGuire, 2 other children Mary A (1880), Elizabeth (1886) & Thomas (1881)

Have you checked all her siblings to see if she's living with any of them?

There's also a Joseph McGuire (1886) living in a household in Leeds

There’s a
William (1897) & Florence McGuire (1895) both living in Rotherham

but NO Annie (1898)

hi
yes I found her sister mary in Rotherham with Florence and william
I know her sister alice had gone to Canada in 1907
there was a sister Elizabeth but I would have thought she would have been married by this time
and have no idea who she married
there was also brother Thomas,
but cant pick him out in 1911
no one seemed to spell there name correctlley
the annie in leeds you found turned out she was born in Lancashire so not the right annie,
I will now take a look at joseph in leeds
thank you
patricia

Please remember that 1911 census look-up requests are not allowed on Rootschat.

All that should be posted is information from the free indexes.

Itr might be useful searching on various sites as they all have their own transcriptions which may differ from one site to another.
