Sorry to hear of his passing, he did contribute a massive amount to Romany genealogy, especially sharing what must have been his life's work to the Records Offices. Just a shame not all of them took him up on his generous offers.  I only met him once, around 20 years ago at the R&TFHS meeting in Basingstoke. Condolences to your family

Please accept my condolences. Mr Lee and I did not always see eye to eye, but I was privileged enough to know of his existence and his work for over 20 years. What he achieved, especially in the days before computerised genealogy, was nothing short of remarkable, and demonstrated very clearly a lifelong dedication to family history. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

A late but very honest and heartfelt acknowledgment to Terrence, who was, to say the least, a dedicated hardworking and knowledgeable man, who definitely deserves a grand send off and a fond farewell. He helped me personally with my family history many times and I am so glad I have 3 of his books of my own, plus the vast amount of literature he has left for all fellow researchers to share.
