Yes, that's all it said in the newspapers too, London. I'm sure someone far more knowledgeable than me on these things can help you figure out what port that might have been. I'd hazard a guess at Limehouse, but that's just cos that's the one I've heard of!

Have you tried here  http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/news/409.htm for the bmds at sea?

Or have you tried Ireland? I know deaths of people of Scottish origin at sea were supposed to be registered with the Scottish authorities.  It looks to me like Ireland was the same

Hi Frederick Kent was my gr-grandfather. He married Mary Elizabeth Cahill in New Ross County Wexford Ireland in 1902.  :) I am currently working on the family tree so any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Marie
