Marriage certificate help

I've applied for a marriage certificate and it came this morning, but I'm still none the wiser after spending nearly 2 hours online to try and find them in the census.

Im trying to find an Isaac Jones who married a Mary James (Batchelor and Spinster) at the Registry Office at Newcastle Emlyn on 23 December 1905.

Issac lives at 10 Basset Street, Abercynnon and Mary at Llysnewydd Cottages, Drefach, Llangeler. Isaacs father is Timothy Jones (Stone Mason) and Marys is David James (Domestic Gardener).

Tried to find the couple in 1911 with no results and tried 1901 to see if they were living with parents but no joy at all. Can anyone help please?

what ages are given for them on the marriage cert? And what occupation is given for Isaac?

Thanks Osprey! Have worked out why ancestry was throwing a wobbly. It was because exact search was on. Every time I go to the default search, the exact box is always ticked.

His father was Isaac Jones born 1809/1810. Can find him in all census except 1841, he has vanished!

I think Mary may have been born in Llangeler, although father David shows as ag lab on most census entries. Sorry, need to leave for work. Hope you're on the way now.

I was looking for Mary James b. 1880+/- 1 with father David and the one born Llangeler was the only one in the Newcastle Emlyn registration district, think she may have been the only plain Mary in Carmarthenshire actually, the others had middle names.
