Lloydy, I had a stepfather who came from Llanidloes, he wouldn't have been old enough for the war, but i wonder if his family are listed, the name is Bradbury.

Hi Bodger

There is three Bradbury's listed, so you could be in luck!!!!

Bradbury, Isaac, 12 Penygraig, 2/7 RWF

Bradbury, Tom, King's Own Yorks

Bradbury Wm, 22 Long Bridge Street, Serft, 2/7 RWF

Jan ;)

P.S.  I am distantly related to the Bradbury's from Llanidloes.  Could you PM me with your information and then we can see if there's a connection.

Hi Lloydy,

I know that this thread is quite old, but hope that you still may be able to help.....  I'm looking for details of any Pryce boys from Llanidloes, who fought in WW1.

Thank you!

Hello again Tulip

I've found the list (not where I thought I'd put it ;D) and have found the following Pryce:

Pryce J. Fred, 16 Victoria Avenue, 1/7 R.W.F

Pryce Percival, Bank House Shop, 3/8 Worecesters

They are the only two entries.

I'm trying to get my grandfathers regimental number and war details but having no luck. Found your site and hope you may be able to help
My grandfather was
Edward Jones, served in the 10th Battalion South Wales Borderers
He was born 2nd June 1892 in Lower Green Llanidloes
( I have a certificate of War Service from Lannidloes Council)
