I know they my 'lot' lived centrally - Queen Street - Church Street areas.
My Clarke link Sarah Clarke - who was gran to some of them as her daughter married Walter Haywood.  Was from Shenton and her husband Thomas Clarke was a farmer - son of farmer etc... and for a while they worked an awful lot of land.  Not seemingly owning a lot although John Clarke did own some for a while and left a little bit of money to his son Thomas... dont know what Thomas did with it though???
