Any Information please on Drumrucklis Co Cavan. My grandfather Patrick Carmichael was born ther parents Anne Reilly and Thomas Carmichael in 1891 when he moved to Govan Glasgow.

Can't see that spelling on a townland search, but there are quite a few places starting with Drum in Cavan.

Just noticed there is two Drumbrucklis. There are Reilly's living in Drumbrucklis Loughdawan in the 1901 Census but no Carmichael's although there are Caremichaels in the county.

Normally I'd have a look for his father in Griffith's Valuation but that site is down for maintenance
