So,

Did you ever link your John Lamb back to the famous Lamb Fruiterers ?

Hi Tara I have spent alot of time on this family but could not make a connection,I have been trying to connect Henry Lamb fruiterer ( angelsey market and Capel street) with Patrick.
I also wondered if the information on his death cert is accurate,it was Patricks daughter Catherine who supplied it and I wondered if she had his parents  first names mixed up.

Patrick came over with 2 sisters (I hope) one of which went to the USA and the other I cant find after 1851 so I cant verify from their death certs as to parents names.

I have trawled through Trade indexes, directories and bar( I think) Henry seems to be  the only Lamb that is listed as a fruiterer.I also went through all the Lambs on the Irish genealogy web site and categorised children with parents and addresses where possible to see if I could establish a connection through first names

HUM  ???

I would have expected John to be the name of his first son, or at least the second son.

What is VERY interesting is the Christian name Henry featuring as the second son.

HUM ~ COULD his daughter have made a mistake  :o
