Hi David, in your original post you gave Timothy father as timothy but in the marriage record for Timothy & eliz Mulvihill it gives his father as Thomas.

Sometimes there can be errors in the church records as I couldnt find my grandparents marriage and when I contacted the Church where I thought they would have married - found the record but my grandfathers name was different to his known name. :)

Hi ballydw,

Timothy Mackessy was my great grandfather, born in 1895. His parents were Timothy (Macessy) & Eliza (Bessie) Mulvihill, who appear in the 1901 census. Timothy(Macessy)'s father was Thomas, so I think the records look to be correct.

hello there I'm PJ Mackessy, son of Tim Mackessy, I think its my family your talking about contact me on *, Tim had 7 girls and 5 boys and my grand dad allso had 12 7 boys and 5 girls and yes so of the family is in New york, email any time, i'm in co' Waterford Ireland my self...... ;)

My great grandfather was Timothy (Thade) Mackessy also, and my DAD Timothy MACKESSY AND My MOTHER WHERE ALSO IN LONDON AT THE SAME TIME, I'm trying to find out more.... ''O'' sorry I'm PJ Mackessy, now live waterford/Tipp border......... good luck......
