I am looking for the birth and parents of Josephine Louisa Margaretta Eliot/Eliott b abt 1813 India possibly Agra.  Unfortunately this is as much as I know about Josephine before she married in England to Edward Dearman in 1831.

There is a 1831 Marriage on Fibis for a Therese Sauvagete.
Did Women of French Ancestry revert to maiden name when remarrying I wonder?
May just be a coincidence.
Charles Hay Elliott may be of Glous if the Girls ended up marrying there.
