India: William George Paddock death look up please

I have a very bad photocopy of various paper clippings from what I think was The Bangalore Post of various obituaries and reports regarding the death and burial of William George Paddock, who was I gather a very well respected member of the Bangalore community. Someone has written Feb 20, 1923 or 1925 on it
I have a photocopy of a photograph of the headstone but although I can make out the name cannot make out the dates. I know he is buried in the Oossoor Road Cemetery, Bangalore.
If anyone has access to Indian records I would be grateful to have the correct date and any further information regarding him

William George Paddock, chemist  died 12th September 1923 aged 56 years of a cerebral haemorrhage (from British India Deaths).

Thank you Miriam a cerebral haemorrhage is what it said on the cuttings. Looking very carefully, written very lightly in pencil on the little bit about the funeral attendance it says 13 September. Lord alone knows where they got February from!
