Have you checked earlier parish records for Bagnalstown for a possible marriage of Patrick & Ellen ?

Baptism and marriage records for the parish go back to about 1820, and are available in the National Archives on film  Pos. 4195.

Thanks Shane for your reply

Not able to get to NA as I don't live in Dublin anymore (due to family and work commitments so hard to get to Dublin).

I have gone through my file and a local historian from Carlow gave me info years ago back in 2003
that Ellen Doran of Seskin married a Patrick Dwyer on 15th June 1852 and one of their children was Ann(e) Dwyer who is my great grandmother. I do have names of other siblings of Ann Dwyer but I would rather do a separate post for each of them and who they married.

Shane
Bit of advice
If I sent off details to GRO to Roscommon with a marriage of Patrick Dwyer and Ellen Doran married on 15 June 1852, this will cost me 6 euros for a search and research cert. Maybe then I might get parents names am I right

As your Dwyers & Doran's were RC then that marriage would have been before the start of civil records - so no cert would be available.

Civil certs, i.e. starting in 1864 for RC marriages, show father's names and occupation - no mention of mothers. RC marriage records from this sort of timeframe dont usually show very much detail - e.g. date of marriage, full names of bride & groom, and names of two witnesses. Sometimes you may see place(s) of residence for the couple
