Hi Diarmuid   Have you looked at       www.titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie    There is a James CROWE listed at Killane in Ballyellin Parish,  Co. Carlow dated 1827. :)        conahy

hi Diarmuid                             In this website there are six Co. Carlow cemeteries:        www.irelandcemeteryrecords.com                               "Dunleckney cemetery inscriptions" has its own website.       "Myshall & Drumphea Parish" also has its own website.          Another site to try:       www.igp-web.com/igparchives/ire/carlow/cem.htm         Also  www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/counties/#carlow      which has lists of parishes and maps which might be useful to you.  That part is free.       Happy hunting   :)  conahy

Hi Conahy,

Thanks for your response to my query, this is a site I have looked at before but I have not found what I am looking for,I am looking for a James Crowe who died in 1798 so far I have had no luck.

                   Once again thanks,regards Diarmuid.
:)   hi Diarmuid       There are many 1798 burials in St Mullins graveyard, at least two near the Penal Altar.  There is a Heritage Centre there which is run by volunteers,  they might have names.  According to their website they welcome genealogy queries    (dont know if they charge)    www.stmullinsheritagecentre.com       worth a try.           conahy
Hi Diarmuid    Found "1798 Memorial St Mullins" at www.irishwarmemorials.ie/html/showMemorial.php?show=579     list of names...but no Crowe  :(           conahy
