Hi Leslie
Just wondering if there is anything on David Cowe and Isabella Davidson
they were married in Eccles around 1886.
Thanks Julie

I'm looking for William Turnbull and Mary Mean who may have been in Eccles around 1760.  He was a gardener.  Any information is appreciated.

Hi Norma,

Thought I'd answer this one for you

Erected by John McKay in memory of Angus McKay his son who died 18th June at the Battle of Waterloo 1815 aged 21 years, also William McKay his son who died 6/1/1816 aged 17 years.
Reverse- Also the above John Mckay who died 30/4/1821 aged 75 years. Also Elizabeth McKay spouse to John Lamb who died ?

Hope this helps.

Hi Terry,

Thank you. The bit about Elizabeth should read died 13th July 1815 age 25 for anyone else who is interested in this family. Is there a photo of this headstone please.

Hi Norma,

I just had the book of MI Inscriptions so no photo. I'm only a few miles away so weather permitting I could get one for you next time I'm down that way.....not sure when that will be though but I will get it if you want.
